Nut- and Dairy Allergy - 2006/01/24 20:30
My 2-year-old daughter has a Tree Nut and Dairy Allergy and now is on a Gluten-Free Diet...most dairy-free and gluten-free items are NOT NUT-FREE...it's becoming a real challenge. Kinnerton choc is the first chocolate Eden has had in months. I'm so glad I found it!!! Does anybody know any other food labels that include all 3 allergens?
Thanks. Vanessa.

I thought most places now had allergens noted on their food products. I know Iceland was one of the first supermarkets to label stuff clearly. I would say though, to make sure you check the labels each time you shop. I've been caught out many times because companies have 'changed production methods'. Helpful!!!
Good luck Katie x

Safetoeat Sauces and Soups are free from all allergens, a lot of Barkat and Glutano products are too, I will be stocking them as soon as my account is set up, in the next few weeks I hope!

THat must be really hard, I thought it was bad enough with nut and OAS! I had a dairy allergy really badly when i was that age but i have recently grown out of it mostly so don't give up hope!

Sorry, although i posted before i suppose it wasn't all that helpful. I would just be tempted to make your own food using dairy and gluten substitutes, such as soya milk and gluten free bread, paired with fresh fruit and veg (so long as he dosen't have OAS) I doubt you will be able to find a good variable diet with pre made food but if you make some easy quick stuff not only will he be able to eat it but i garuntee it will taste nicer then any packaed thing. M&S are really good at labelling and i am pretty sure quite a bit of their stuff is dairy, gluten and nut free.
i hope that helped.

Hi Vanessa. Sainsburys have a "free from" section in their stores which I have found really useful. They do nut free, dairy free and gluten free chocolate lollipops but only in their "free from" section not with the rest of their chocolate. Hope this helps!
