Nuts in Beauty Products - 2005/11/23 23:58
There are nut ingredients in soaps, hair colouring kits, bubble baths, cosmetics, facial and body scrubs and other beauty products. Warnings should be placed on all products containing nuts. (Originally posted by Andrea Roux)

Absolutely agree Andrea. 1 in 50 children are now allergic to nuts & manufacturers seem to be using even more of them. Nuts are even used in some childrens bath products and creams.

That's something I am more and more worried about, saw a major brand of cleaning product in the supermarket with Almond cleaning power. Cant actually remember what it was now - might have been floor cleaner.
Would this be dangerous if used on a floor or other surface and a nut allergy sufferer played on it? - if so it would be impossible to avoid - how could you tell? (Originally posted by vwelwood)

Hello,
I thought you might like to know I am currently creating a skin care range that is completly nut free. No nuts, nut oils or nut products of any description. I don't have an allergy myself but I realise nobody is currently creating a skincare range that is nutfree across the entire range.
I won't be ready to sell products til April this year, but thought you might like to know that its in the pipeline. The products will be vegan and nature-based as well.
