I would like to inform you all that I had an ear infection and for four days was putting drops in my ear when I had an an attack and was rushed ti hospital.I had had an anaphylactic attack.When I returned to my local hospital they looked up the ingredients and informed me that the drops had peanut oil as a base .
It caused me to faint and if my friends had not been there I would not have made it.
Peanut oil is used as a base in many things lipstick is one I dont know of all of them so beware.
I had never to my knowledge eaten nuts as a child,tho just after the second world war england was short of food Relatives from Australia sent food parcels to us and in them were jars of peanut butter I do remember eating this on bread.It was not until years later when breaking old nuts for the birds I had swelling lips and my eyes closed and then couldnt breath.I wa staken to hospital and they recognised it as an allergy.The specialist after taking samples told me that I was allergic to nuts and I had had an anaphylactic attack.
I am also alergic to peas that contain simalar ingredients to some nuts.
A list of ingredients is not on many things so be careful.It does not help when stores now put IT MAY CONTAIN NUTS or MADE IN A FACTORY THAT USES NUTS on just about evrything.I have not got any better over the years in fact its worse.We are all different thats a fact.
